Most followup appointments for established patients are appropriate for telehealth. Initial consultations for diabetes management are appropriate for this setting. Most endocrine based consultations and some medical weight loss consultations should be completed in clinic as vital signs and clinical exam is an important part of the evaluation.

We work with most national laboratories to increase convience for your appropriately timed laboratory evaluations. We can use more local labs for basic evaluations but outsource to larger labs for advanced testing. For indeterminant thyroid nodule biopsies, we work with Thyroseq for advanced molecular testing.

We provide full-scope endocrinology medical care but utilize an expert team to round out care when needed. We work with a network of local endocrine surgeons for surgical care and work closely with the tertiary academic centers when more advanced services are needed. Dr. Fiacco is the acting medical director of Lifestyle Medical Centers which is a group devoted to nutritional counseling and lifestyle therapies.

We offer certain dynamic endocrine testing when indicated as well as thyroid fine needle aspirations in the office. Therapeutic injections for osteoporosis are also available.
